Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience during my stay at this hotel. The rooms, located in the new wing, were skillfully blended with the old, historic building, which was cool and nice but rather small, leading to the risk of bumping my head when getting up. Booking a normal room is recommended for a more comfortable stay.
The hotel offers a view of the castle and a good bathroom; however, it is considered overpriced due to small room size, noisy street leakage despite double glazing, and inconvenient sloping walls. The service is top-notch with friendly staff throughout, but there are some language limitations. The location by an old watermill is picturesque and ideal for exploring Torun. The dining experience offers a variety of regional dishes. The facilities are well-equipped with various amenities.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, cosy, and comfortable, and the service was top-notch. The location was excellent, with all the sights within easy walking distance. However, the dining experience could be more diverse, and although the facilities were great, the Wi-Fi had an additional cost.
I stayed at the hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, although a bit small. The air conditioning worked very well, which was a big plus. However, it seemed to attract loud-mouthed youths shouting and spitting, which was quite unsettling at times.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the excellent service by the friendly staff at the front desk to the tasty food in the restaurant and the cozy yet comfortable rooms, my experience was fantastic. The hotel was surprisingly quiet despite having neighbors next to us, which was great.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience for me. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, offering a fantastic hot breakfast buffet with a great variety, including eggs cooked to order. However, the room size was a bit small for my liking. The service was exceptional, with the staff always ready to offer advice and assistance, and the thoughtful gesture of gifting a box of Torun gingerbread added a special touch to my stay. The location was perfect for exploring the old town area, right next to the Teutonic castle and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The dining experience was truly unique, combining historic charm with contemporary interiors and serving a great selection of hot and cold food, including a complimentary glass of prosecco. Overall, a memorable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
